I draw, work out, and practise cheerdance. Here are nine paintings and a few moments from training and rehearsals.
Inspired by MCK, I placed a red figure against a fractured background and an upward-reaching silver form. His lowered gaze brings stillness to a composition built around vulnerability and defiance.
Inspired by IShowSpeed, red figures and an expressive face stand out against blue. I wanted the painting to feel spontaneous and joyful.
Inspired by Conor McGregor, I contrast a steady fighting stance with restless green brushstrokes, bringing composure and movement into the same frame.
A blue-violet horse moves through an unfinished landscape. I see something of myself in that movement: wanting to explore beyond familiar expectations, without yet knowing exactly where I am going.
A red footballer hangs mid-air beside a ball. The dark background holds attention on the suspended body and the moment before action.
A seated red figure pauses against a restless blue background. The contrast between body and brushwork gives this painting its quieter mood.
A twisting back and bent arms hold the body between falling and rising. The tension of the pose is the focus.
A runner crosses a dark, swirling landscape with no visible finish line. For me, the painting is about continuing at my own pace.
Red, violet, and turquoise define the back and shoulders. This anatomy study explores how posture can carry emotion without a visible face, using colour to draw attention to the body’s structure.
As a child, I struggled with my weight. Wanting to improve my health and appearance led me to sports and, later, regular workouts. I now make time for training alongside schoolwork.
I tried cheerdance when I started high school. We practised late into the night at school, and friendships grew as we learned to move together.
