Research & Internships

My work includes two co-authored manuscripts under peer review and engineering internships at RPMEC and BITOCO, covering inclusive learning, consumer trust, assistive devices, and precision manufacturing.

Modeling an AI-Powered Vietnamese Folk Paintings as an Inclusive Educational Platform for Children with Disabilities

This manuscript explores Vietnamese folk art as a resource for inclusive learning. My contributions include stakeholder analysis, explainable rules for selecting activities, and a framework distinguishing visual observations from cultural context.

GenAI, Trust & Sustainable Purchase Intention

Our study examines how the quality and transparency of AI recommendations relate to consumer trust and sustainable purchase intention. We analysed 398 valid responses using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Trust was positively associated with purchase intention.

RPMEC

Engineering internship · Jul – Sep 2026

I worked on a smart assistive cane for older adults, combining sensors, fall detection, and emergency alerts.

My contribution

  • Integrated sensors with ESP32/Arduino.
  • Developed detection and alert functions.
  • Joined field testing with 50 older adults at Diên Hồng nursing home.

Reported test results

  • 96.5% detection accuracy.
  • 48+ hours of battery life.
A useful assistive device needs more than reliable detection. Battery life, clear alerts, and comfort matter in everyday use.

BITOCO

Engineering internship · May – Jul 2025

I worked alongside company engineers on precision machining, equipment monitoring, and quality control.

My contribution

Supported PLC/CNC adjustments, IoT monitoring, and quality-control workflows.

Reported team results

  • 18% shorter production cycle.
  • Defect rate reduced from 4.5% to below 1.2%.
Small parameter changes can affect physical results. Working with equipment made careful measurement and precision more concrete to me.
